A real Washington family crew
Not a franchise, not a call center. When you call Dependable Paving, a member of the family picks up. The person who walks your property is on the job the day we pave it.
Tacoma, WA · Family owned & operated
Dependable Paving WA is a family-run crew out of Tacoma paving driveways, parking lots, and sealcoat jobs across greater Seattle and the Puget Sound. Every lift, every compaction pass, every sealcoat line — put down with the moss, rain, and freeze-thaw of this corner of Washington in mind.
Not a franchise, not a call center. When you call Dependable Paving, a member of the family picks up. The person who walks your property is on the job the day we pave it.
Pacific Northwest rain, clay soil, and freeze-thaw are what make cheap driveways fail by year two. We spec the base, the lift thickness, and the sealcoat schedule around that — not around a template.
Free estimates with a real walkthrough. If an overlay saves you money versus a full tear-out, we'll tell you. If a crack-fill and fresh sealcoat buys you another five years, that's what you'll hear.
What we pave
Six focused services. Every one runs through the same family crew, the same compaction spec, and the same walk-through when the job is done. New asphalt, fresh stripes, a tight sealcoat — whatever the property needs, it gets the full attention of the owners.
New installs and full-depth overlays — hot mix dropped, raked, and rolled at the right temperature window. Prep honest, lifts honest, finish smooth.
New and replacement driveways for Puget Sound homes. Graded to shed water, rolled to stay tight, edged clean where the asphalt meets grass, gravel, or the garage slab.
Parking lots, shop yards, and access drives compacted to handle daily loads without rutting at year two. We phase the work and stripe on schedule so your operations barely pause.
A fresh coat of sealer is the single cheapest thing you can do to stretch the life of your asphalt. Crack fill first, sealer second — applied at the right temperature, not the first dry day someone shows up.
Seal the surface, re-stripe the lines, get your customers back on it the next morning. Scheduled around your hours, done in phases on the big lots so nobody has to close up shop.
Most residential drives want a fresh seal every three to five years in this climate. We cut in the edges, fill what needs filling, then roll or spray a uniform coat that actually dries before it rains again.
How we work
Three stages. Nothing hidden, nothing rushed. You'll know what's happening at every step, including what the weather is going to do to our schedule.
We come out, look at slope, drainage, soil, and what the existing surface is doing. You get a real number tied to real conditions — not a per-square-foot quote sent sight unseen.
Soft spots come out, sub-base goes in, everything gets cut to grade and compacted in lifts. On PNW clay this is the step that makes or breaks a driveway ten winters from now.
Hot mix at the right temp, rolled tight, edges feathered clean. On sealcoat jobs we cut in by hand first. Then we walk the finished surface with you before the tools go on the trailer.

Service area
Based in Tacoma, rolling out to Seattle, Bellevue, the Eastside, and up through Snohomish County. If your city is on the list, we'll come walk the property.
New driveways, replacements, and sealcoat visits for homes across the Puget Sound — from flat suburban lots to long, forested rural lanes.
Parking lots, shop yards, and heavy-traffic surfaces paved, sealed, and striped around your business hours so nobody has to close up shop.
We live here, our kids go to school here, and we know which neighborhoods sit on clay that heaves every spring. That shows up in the work.
If you're near the list above, there's a good chance we cover you. Pick up the phone with your street or nearest cross streets and we'll tell you straight whether we're the right crew for your property.
Tell us about the driveway, lot, or sealcoat job. We'll answer questions about prep, timing, and what the PNW weather window means for the schedule, then book a walkthrough that fits yours.
